If you would like to request custom development or other services like installation services from an author from the Codester marketplace, you can request a quote through their profile or the item's page for which you would like to request the service.
Quotes can only be requested from authors that are qualified service providers on Codester. All service providers on Codester are hand-picked and carefully reviewed before they are allowed to offer any services.
The quote process can be divided in the following phases:
1. Requesting a quote
During the quote request you can submit you wishes. Please make sure you describe this in as much detail as possible and take your budget realistic. If this is not the case the author can decline your quote request.
2. Waiting for seller to submit a quote
After careful consideration, the seller will reply with a quote for the requested work. Most sellers respond within 1-2 business days after a quote is requested.
3. Approve or Decline the quote
Once the seller has submitted a quote, the buyer will be notified. The buyer is now able to accept or decline the quote. If the buyer agrees to the quote, he/she can accept the quote.
To accept the quote the buyer has to make an upfront payment to Codester for the total amount of the quote. The money will be held in a Codester ledger account until the job is finished. The money will not be released to the seller until the job has been marked as completed.
Once the quote has been approved, the job is created.
